Material Culture Inc. This huge warehouse is a a world class treasure. They carry furniture, rugs, lanterns, soaps, pillows, pottery, etc. A lot of the pieces are from Turkey, Pakistan, and India. There are two stories to wander around. We often meet for coffee (they serve it) on a Saturday or Sunday and meander around the store for hours. There is also a guy who walks around with a tray of cups of hot tea. The staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful. They will hold items for you for a day. They also have layaway and del... read more

worldly stuff Material Culture has a vast collection of cool things from all over the world. You will find odd and quirky things that you would never have even thought existed. It is almost like a museum environment, but more welcoming. You can find extraordinary accents for your home things no one else will have. They not only have dcor pieces, but also apparel, carpets, and other really unique things. Prices are good some things are pretty expensive but also very rare to find anywhere in this country.
