I was a patient at the Mackay Mater Emergency Care Centre today. I was very sick and greatly appreciated the service. The nursing staff were excellent (thanks Patrick) and the speed which had me admitted was impressive. However the professional leadership and inspired confidence from the leading physician was a huge bonus to myself on the gurney. Wonderful experience at the Mater Emergency Care Centre in Mackay. Since moving to Mackay recently and needing to go to hospital I am pleased with the level of care available when you need it the most. The nurses, doctors and admin team were all friendly, reassuring, helpful and thorough. I feel very well looked after. Thank you so much to the lovely team who took care of me today.
Emergency receptionist and nurses were all very friendly . But the dr ? Don’t know if he was in a bad mood or if he’s generally rude like he was !
