Shady dealings I wanted to purchase a bank owned property listed by Matel. I was told that I could only use their mortgage guy who worked for Countrywide. They also, didn't believe that I was interested in the house and required a $10,000 good faith deposit. Once the house was inspected by my person, I made an offer. They rejected my offer of $300k. The house has since sat on the market for years. Also, is not even worth $200k today. THANK YOU Matel for being so shady!
