I visited the Mclean VA Matchbox yesterday, and I've never had such a bad experience. We waited a minute or two, and a male server (who turned out to be our waiter later on) was sitting on the bench. It wasn't until another staff member approached that our waiter said, "Oh, were you waiting on a table?" We've been to this location at least three times, and in the past the drinks and service were outstanding. This time? Both were awful. Darren was a great attentive server! Visiting from out of town and it was perfect for what we were looking for!
Enes the bartender was great. Very friendly. we went early on a Sunday morning and sat at the bar. We had the mimosa tower. Catfish and grits and shrimp and grits. The grits were a little cold and the fish needed more seasoning and flavor. The fish was fried well and crispy.
