I have a house built by Masullo Brothers in 2003. The house has defects when it was built. The supporting beams were not protected carefully and the siding had knife cut/holes which lead water leaking inside. With years, the supporting beams were eroded inside while outside seems fine, Multiple experts inspected the house: (1) Town Building Department Director " I think there was a leak that allowed water to get behind the siding and pool there.
