Atmosphere was very welcoming. The staff was great andi loved the live music. That butter cake was priceless �. I would definitely be returning.
Food was really good definitely on par with some of the better steakhouses in Chicago. Service was above what I routinely experience. The valet even changed a flat on our vehicle. I would go back.
My steak was cooked perfectly, melted like butter in my mouth!!! Creamed corn and Spinach was sooo good and the lobster Mac and cheese was unbelievable!!? The best part was the Butter cake with whipped creamed!! The live band was on point!!! Will definitely be back. A very laid back upscale friendly environment! Enjoyed eating and celebrating my sis Donna's engagement with my BFf Larhonda.
My fiancé and I love Mastro's! For any special occasion we know exactly where we are going, the food and service is always on point. We even went to Mastro's when we were on vacation in Arizona and it was awesome! Last night we went to the Art Institute and decided to come in and have a couple of drinks and appetizers. Amazing.... been to a lot of steak places, but this one is my favorite. Service was excellent and love sitting in the bar area at a table. Live music is nice. Suggest going during the week, not as crowded. Will be returning for a company x-mas party. Looking forward to it.
