Service with Excellence – We went to Mastro's Ocean Club for the first time tonight and were blown away by the exquisite attention to detail and their preempting of our every need. Our server (Mitch) was there to anticipate our needs and accommodate us in every way possible- without our having to ever ask. He was a true professional and at the top of his game. If you're looking for an excellent overall experience where no detail goes unnoticed, this is the place. Pricey, yes, but worth every penny.
Great Ambience, customer service – This was my first time in Scottsdale visiting my boyfriends brother. He and his wife took us there after raving about the food. We absolutely loved it. We are steak eaters and the filet was the best we have ever tasted. Being from Utah we weren't used to ordering drinks. I ordered a dirty martini and couldn't believe how much I got. Great Bar!! – The Ocean Club has a very nice bar, with live piano music and great drinks. The decor and people are beautiful, and you have got to try their Chocolate Martinis, complete with a large chocolate covered strawberry perched on the rim. Awesome!
Avoid it ll together unless yo want a very expensive cocktail – Over priced and not top quality food. Lobster mash pototoes were over poriced and consisted of scrap lobster meat over seasoned woth celery salt. Does not compare to a Ruth Chris or a Flemings
Poor Service, High Prices – Before I went there, my friends told me it was a great diner. They were wrong. For a steak was undercooked and hostess were unattractive and mine seemed angry at me for no reason. My family left after 10 minutes.
great steak, seafood , and atmosphere – great appetizers, seafood , and steaks great variety for a crowd of people. have a drink at the bar before or after dinner if you get the big seafood tower appetizer it can get expensive , but they have it all
Great bar...not a fan of the dining room – I love the bar here. The cosmos served with dry ice are so yummy (a tiny bit cheesy with all the smoke and bubbles, but cute none-the-less)and they come in two's Appetizers are PHENOM! The seafood tower is something you have to do at least once, but after that save your money. Try the calamari and a cosmo at the bar and you won't be disappointed. And make sure Drew is your bartender...he's awesome. If you're cute, he might even throw in a free Baked Alaska :O)
place to be seen – Best seafood you will find intown..also probably the most expensive. MUST get: seafood tower appetizer (chilled). Price- depends on how much stuff you want it. ours was about $600 for 8 or 9 ppl. steaks were excellent.
