I WAS very excited to go to this very accomplished doctor. Maria, his gate keeper ruined that. On the first phone call she was fantastic. Answered all my questions and was extremely amicable. I gave her a suggestion of watching Moldy the movie, she loved I once was a raw foodist. I was coming from out of state and needed to make arrangements. I inquired how far out do they book? Dr. Jim is a good doctor. His assessment was thorough, he took me seriously, and he showed me some exercises to improve my pain.
Dr Jim was such a wonderful find! Through reading Stuart McGill's books, and then seeing Dr Jim on McGill's website, I reached out and began working with him earlier this year. The level of detail, knowledge, and the time Dr Jim took on assessing me (over 3 hours), blew me away. He was compassionate, specific, and straight forward. After weeks of agonizing back pain, sciatica and not sleeping, I stumbled upon a podcast featuring a doctor by the name of Stu McGill (world-renowned expert on spine and back issues). I trusted Dr. Jim because he was on Dr. McGill's website. I was told numerous times by his secretary, before I put down a deposit, that the visit would last 3 hours.
