I recently moved into the neighbourhood, and my car broke down. Finding a new mechanic in a desperate situation is stressful...you want someone you can trust, AND who does a good job. Vinny was amazing from the first time I called in about my situation. He was friendly, fair and honest. I now have a local mechanic I can trust. which is a great thing. Thank you Vinny and everyone at Master Mechanic East York!!!
Work quality was good and the repairs were completed as discussed. No issues with workmanship so far. However, pricing was very close to dealership level, especially for labour and common repairs (brakes, wheel bearings, O2 sensor). As an independent shop, I expected a clearer cost advantage versus a Kia dealership, which wasn’t really there. My advice to future customers: ask for labour rate upfront, and compare with dealer quotes before approving multiple jobs at once. Not a bad shop, just not the value I expected.
