Thank you to Doc and staff for always putting me first. My calls are always returned and my questions are always answered.
Had no problems scheduling the appointment which was just days after my call. The staff is courteous and very professional. The waiting time was short and Dr. Mastandrea had reviewed my prior online history. He was a good listener to my history of the situation. He examined me and we then discussed a plan of action which included some follow up testing. I like his calm and methodical approach and feel very comfortable with the upcoming investigational steps before any minimally invasive surgery is undertaken.
Dr Mastandrea and his staff have been nothing short of fantastic. My cancer is gone and has been gone for over 10 years. Very friendly, professional and an expert in his field.
Was supposed to be a minor, outpatient procedure to remove a cyst. After which , my husband swelled up and spent 5 days in the hospital. This doctor said there was nothing he could do and had him discharged. My husband couldn't get out of bed on his own. He couldn't walk, or dress himself or even use the bathroom Noteven a follow up office appointment! We had to insist on one almost 2 weeks post surgery because the wound started bleeding. Vasectomy. Did an excellent job.
Dr. Mastandrea is a very kind and considerate physician. I was able to build a good rapport with him at the first visit. My subsequent visit with him , which was for a cystoscopy went very smoothly and painlessly. I could see that Dr. Mastandrea is a very competent and knowledgeable urologist. I am sure that I am going to be very happy under his care.
I miss my dad! something could have been done after his prostate surgery but all this doctor could do was to tell him to "suck it up" and quit acting like a baby. A couple days later my dad passed. Very unprofessional.
Worst Doctor I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting. He’s rude, condescending, and seems extremely disinterested in helping patients. Also, his office operation. Is disorganized, set an appointment then call you back to reschedule, happened to me every time. There many other better urologists in Tampa, stay away from this one.
Very rude and unprofessional! Did not seem interested, does not make eye contact, and was not informed at all about anything to do with my visit.
