UPDATE: MASSOUDI has left me irreparably damaged. I have gone to several second opinions on my back and after Massoudi went in and hacked at the same levels four times with four failures. It has been left irreparably damaged. FINAL UPDATE: It's been 7 months post-op from my FAILED L-spine surgery. I am so miserable, the pain isn't even controlled by pain meds anymore because of the severity level. After getting 2 opinions from 2 different neurosurgeons both told me the same thing. NOTHING CAN BE DONE SURGICALLY FOR ME ANY LONGER BECAUSE OF THE COUNTLESS TIMES MY L4/5 LEVELS HAVE BEEN HACKED. Dr Massoudi and his staff are excellent. I had a spinal fusion that went very well. Pain was not excessive and my recovery went well. My wife and I went on our Hawaiian vacation 6 weeks after surgery... pain free! I just had my four month post surgery review with Dr. Massoudi. My fusion has healed and Dr. said I could get back to my life and that included incremental exercise and golf. I have been going to Dr. Massoudi for two years with a degenerative back, which does not give me any problems. So he tells me, "if it ain't broke don't fix it". However, my wife has been seeing him for several years and she has had two back surgeries and til this day she has no pain and full range of motion. I totally trust his judgment and skill.
