Great brunch – I agree with the other reviews. I stop in for brunch all the time on the weekends and it is excellent everytime. At this point, I think I've had everything on the menu. They have 2 for 1 mimosas, which is pretty sweet. My favorite dish is the Masso omelette or just a plain pizza. They usually have sports on, with some nice reggae playing. It's always a relaxing weekend morning when I stop in. Every so often I show up and it's a little busier than normal, but the staff is still super nice and fast. I would deff... read more
Good reason to stick around in Queens – I just moved to the LIC area not too long ago, and for a while I continued journeying into Manhattan for dining and drinking on the weekends. Just recently I began to explore the local restaurants and bars (there aren't that many) and Masso has been my favorite so far. I recently showed up on a Sunday night, and I had expected them to have only bar service, but was pleased to find out that they serve food until midnight (later than most of the other places). I was with a couple of my g... read more
My favorite late night spot – Masso's been getting alot of good write ups lately, so I thought, I'd join the bandwagon. It's my favorite place to stop in for a drink on Sunday nights. It's quiet with a really wonderful ambiance. Never crowded when I go in. The bar is small, but the girl who's there Sunday nights remembers me and always keeps me entertained. I love their pizza's, and portabello napoleon. Now that the fireplace is on, it adds to their great mood. Great place!
Try it out! – I've always driven by this place in favor of other restaurants-bars on Vernon, but stopped for brunch yesterday and have to admit it was a pleasant suprise. The decor is pretty trendy with good music, not to mention the wait staff was extremely nice and courteous. Our dishes were prepared quickly and the food was pretty tasty (albeit, maybe a little cold...just a little). The menu is also very reasonable for brunch prices, so if you're in the neighborhood, swing by and bask in the ambience.
Good Addition to the Neighborhood – I've been here a few times since they opened, and I prefer it over alot of the restaurants on Vernon Bvd. It isn't crowded or obnoxiously busy. The food is pretty good, and they've got a good beer selection. Service is pretty quick even when they get a little busy and the waitresses are always nice.
Great food! Great atmosphere! – I have been to Masso a few times and everytime i go i always enjoy myself. The food is awsome and the service is pretty good. The place is a great addition to lic. Weekend brunch is great as well.
