Nothing but great experience with this company, from the geothermal system install (which looks beautiful!) to the warranty service calls. Very happy with the choice to use them.
Massmann installed a geothermal system about 3 years ago. Contractor was unprofessional and the work had to be corrected; the metal ducts all collapsed in my basement. I called the office in an attempt to get a copy of the yard layout so I can have some gas pipe installed. Several calls and emails but no answer about 1 month later. Called the city to see if they had copies of the plans to find out that permits were never pulled. Incredibly lazy and unprofessional company.
It's tough to find a reliable and knowledgeable geothermal service company. Massmann is that company though, really thankful for them. I called with cooling "emergency" and they came right over and had it fixed within a couple hours - even happened to have the parts in the truck already.
$245 for 5 minutes is crazy. Competition gave me a $1000 cheaper quote and the quote was free. They also talked me through my options rather than just bolting and the work was done next day. Not next week. Unpleasant experience.
Very unpleasant experience. Someone came out for 5 minutes to tell me my water heater needs to be replaced, which I assumed was the case already. The next day they sent me a $245 bill, no heads up before. Had another company come out and give a free quote. They also talked me through my options, gave me good tips to make it last longer in the future and gave me a quote that was $1000 less, and didn’t charge me for the visit.
