I asked Dr Petrera’s staff if the Dr treats hand and toe injuries, and was told he does. I went ahead and booked with him. I arrived there to find out he doesn’t actually specialize in those. There was no apology for the inconvenience and wasted time. His staff was misleading and disappointing. Not to mention him being arrogant p with his attitude.

I want to sincerely thank Dr. Petrera—not only for being an exceptional surgeon, but also for the kind, honest, and passionate person he is. From our first appointment, he made me feel calm and confident, even when explaining I’d need two knee surgeries: first an arthroscopy, then a fresh osteochondral allograft (a cartilage and bone graft from a young, healthy donor) to repair a cartilage defect. Dr. Petrera did amazing work fixing my elbow after a biking accident. I was able to regain full ROM including hypermobility with his guidance and he also was able to recommend me to an excellent physical therapist. Thanks again, Dr. Petrera!
