Wasn't impressed with the full body 90 min massage. Seemed like a pressure point service not a massage. Felt like the therapist was tired and just sat in areas and held pressure for long periods. Spent very little time on legs or arms which she used her arm and did a few passes and moved to the next appendage. On my neck and shoulders it was just as unimpressive. Long holds and no massage. Envy massage was great. It was my first time to ever have a massage and it was so wonderful so relaxing. Everything was explained to me. I highly recommend.
This experience with the San Tan Village location of Massage Envy was one of the worst massages I have ever had. I asked for focus on my legs as I had both knees replaced recently, one 4 weeks ago, and the other was a few months ago. I told the front office Where my discomfort is, and as well my Sciatica was causing alot of discomfort as well. I also told my masseuse to focus on the legs and glutes, and sciatica. Massage Envy has turned into a total scam!!!! They now charge you to tip your therapist and they are making it nearly impossible to cancel the membership. The girl working the front desk today (July 10th 11:30am) was unbelievably disrespectful to me on the phone and it is clear they want to make the cancellation process as painful as possible. Extremely Disappointed – Repeatedly Let Down My husband and I have been Massage Envy members for a while now, and we’ve honestly tried to be patient — but the level of service has become unacceptable. Every time we try to use our memberships, something goes wrong. Appointments are cancelled last minute, shortened without explanation, or just flat-out unprofessional.
