I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had. I had scheduled an appointment for a facial massage; however, what I received was far from my expectations. The treatment involved the application of 3 to 4 different creams on my face, without any actual massage or facial treatment. Avoid the Membership – Poor Customer Service! I would strongly advise against signing up for a membership at Massage Envy in Sterling, VA. While they’re more than happy to take your money, their customer service is severely lacking. They will cancel your appointment last minute without issue, but if you need to reschedule—say, because your child is sick—you’ll lose your points. Trying to get someone on the phone is a nightmare. This is not a business who cares about their commitments to customers. They are quick to tell you how sorry they are but not to fulfill their obligations (cancelling appointments, not being transparent about business practices, not returning phone calls when promised). DON'T BE TRICKED INTO SIGNING UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP! They hold you contractually responsible for a 12 month membership but are not responsible for the service they provide. This is not a business you should do business with.
It's such a big scam. The staff is a hit or a miss. If it's a miss u'll have such a hard time with them. I got their membership and got a massage. On the day of, I had questions and asked them to call me. No one called. When I called back they said they would charge me but I can get it sorted with their manager who would call me.
