Service itself is nice but there are loads of hidden fees and penalties if you get roped into a membership. An absolute costly headach that kills any good vibe any massage can give you. AVOID.
As a massage therapist for 15 years, you need to take care of your own body with regular massage and it is hard finding exactly what you knead. Went in today and while the massage was good, I'm unhappy with my experience. I haven't gone to a massage envy in over a year, but apparently the price they show you online is only introductory and if you've been there before, they charge you $65 more. So they tried to charge $195 rather than the $130 that was quoted. That should be told to you before the massage even starts. Be careful! Bad business practices. I was given a $300 gift card to Massage Envy. The Grayslake location near me closed and the Vernon Hills location isn't honoring the gift card. I can't get a manager to contact me back after MANY attempts. Very unprofessional and fraudulent company to deal with.
