I was looking forward to my first ever massage i booked a 60min deep massage. I arrived 15mins late but i had called earlier to tell them why i was running late and i was told its ok i have a grace period and it won’t affect my time. I spent 5 mins answering massage questions at the desk and another 5 mins in the waiting area. Lo and behold all of this is eating into my time. I would leave zero stars if I could. Be warned before signing any contract with this location. They claim to offer flexibility for reasonable cancellations, but that’s a blatant sales tactic to get you to commit to 12 months. I was on month 10 of my membership when my regular therapist left the company. I was told this wasn’t a “reasonable” reason to cancel early and was spoken to in an incredibly rude and dismissive way by the operations manager. When I call, my concerns or needs get taken care of. Services are good. I mainly get a massage here and every time I do, I hinted that I need to just relax and go to sleep but it never happened. Masseuse (all of them) loves to talk. I don’t like shutting people down so I ended up not being able to just relax. That’s why I give it a 3 star. I mean they’re all nice!
I visited the pickerington location today and my appointment was at 1:00 and I arrived at 12:48. The front desk was not very welcoming and asked what can we do for you today. No hello or welcome to massage envy. I paid for an hour massage and only got 45 minutes.
