I started in 2017 with Rebecca Bianchi and Dr. Vemuri. Rebecca was wonderful, and was one of my best therapists. We got along great! Dr. Vemuri was helpful at first for prescribing medication for things that she was familiar with.. at first.. it’s very easy to see that Dr. Vemuri does not care to reach into understanding of how your psyche works in order to properly treat your symptoms like how a psychiatrist is supposed to. around 2020 I was having symptoms of an underlying disability. We came to this place as an outlet for my son to have someone to express himself to, this turned into him being given a new med to replace his current med, when that didn’t work the dose was upped. After the dose was upped. My Son started having uncontrollable anxiety attacks, Dr.V was called multiple times by myself and my wife about the side effects as we were directed to do so, No calls were ever returned(his last appointment the excuse was “I got your messages but didn’t know who it was” multiple calls explaining the pat... read more
The most amazingly unprofessional group I've ever encountered. 1. I'm first directed to speak with a psychiatrist, who spent the entire time advising of his credentials and then taking over medications, adding one without advising as to the status of the original. Three calls- none returned. Subsequently, I'm sent an email with a prompt for a follow up with a therapist, and that my phone must be hooked up for the session. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vemuri and everyone I have dealt with at Massachusetts Psychiatric Services.
Dr. Vemuri misdiagnosed me, and failed to show up to scheduled telehealth appointments on two occasions. She then told me that she wanted to “turn the case over to my primary care physician”…which I would not have sought out a specialist if I was getting the treatment I needed from my primary care physician. So if Dr. Vemuri deems you to not be worth her time, she’ll just dump you as a patient. She refused to renew my medication and medical orders because she didn’t want me as a patient.
