Last year of april 2023 my mother sign up for an appointment to get a kidney transplant because she needed one to survive i ask the doctors to add my mother to the list and the doctors refused to take her in for a kidney transplant and they said to me in a rude way we can't give your mom a kidney transplant because of her weight she needs to have more weight on her body to get one. I will never ever recommend any of my other family members to the mass general hospital transplant center.
My 10-year kidneyversary is next week I've spent a lot of time here, given that the other side is for patients with chronic kidney disease (and I went to that side for about 20 years). MGH is an excellent hospital.
