I went to cancer center 15 minutes before my appointment. I checked in with front desk and sat there , more than an hour , everyone was gone , even the people after me were seen. So I asked the receptionist whom I sat in front of her all these time, what’s the issue??? The glitch in computer!!! They forgot about me!!! Sitting in front of them for over an hour!!!
I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because my medical care was excellent. But my experience with the billing department was lousy. The scheduling nurse assured me my mammogram would be scheduled as routine (which would be free under my health insurance), with a couple of extra images to address an issue i was having. The bill I received said it was billed as diagnostic. The customer service department reviewed the bill and said "The correct code was used and it processed to your deductible. My personal experience of chemo treatment for my cancer (and the regular follow up appointments after that) is that my treatment has been excellent. From the lead Dr. Smith down to the person at the front desk, I've only encountered kindness, professionalism and the sense that I am truly cared about. And the response to my or my husband's questions via the portal, also has been quick as a New York minute.
