This is a public health warning for rare‑disease patients seeking care at the Mass General Brigham Hospital. I have several rare fatty‑acid oxidation disorders and received a formal medical referral to see a lipid endocrinologist on March 6. I have a rare genetic disorder and received a formal medical referral to see a lipid endocrinologist from the University of Chicago on March 6. The University of Chicago has now sent a formal response to this nightmare and is stunned by the merry go round for my registration (see attachment) This hospital has wrung me through the wringer for registering as a patient and they have violated their own patient registration protocol. Said they would get back to me with result and it's been over a week and a half, i've written them multiple times and they have not gotten back to me, i wouldn't suggest this to anyone who's trying to get actual help.
