We went for a birthday celebration. We did go for Quincy Restaurant week to make our experience affordable. The staff was excellent, the atmosphere was good. I was disappointed in the Cesar salads- very salty, main coarse on the menu we chose Steak Frites. We did not order the sauce for it was 10 dollars extra but our meals were delivered with sauce that we did not ask for and we were charged for it. I've been to a lot of steak houses. This has to be one of the upper echelons of steak houses. The old fashioned was amazing. Seafood tower was very tasty. And of course the bone in ribeye was top notch. The service and atmosphere brought it home. Definitely put this on your list.
We had a 9:30 PM reservation and called the restaurant before arriving to let them know we were running late. We were specifically told that it was fine and that there was a 15-minute grace period. We came to Boston for the Red Sox series and stayed in Braintree. To make this short and sweet all I can say is if you’re in the area and you don’t give Masons a try then it’s your loss. Incredible atmosphere, cocktail selection and menu. My brother and I had cocktails served by masters of their craft at the bar while our table was being prepared.
