The appetizers we got were really quite good (oysters + octopus). Unfortunately, the thing we were looking forward to the most — the steak was really disappointing. It was was overly smoked and was like licking a charcoal briquette. Borderline un-eatable. The cut of meat was also super fatty which was surprising. The Masons old fashioned was also far too smoky. Sometimes simpler things are better. Not sure we would go again.
First impression - The restaurant itself is so beautiful and elegant! We had a wonderful night here celebrating our anniversary. The service, the food, the atmosphere were all outstanding. Definitely the best steakhouse in the south shore. :)
Everyone in our group thought the beef was mediocre at best. My husband's filet was under cooked, he sent it back, it came back 10 minutes later when everyone else was done with their meals. The dessert that is showed on Phantom Gourmet no longer exists (it was a cherry blossom dessert with cotton candy) I do not recommend this restaurant.
