This was a wonderful find in a small town. The owner, who just took over a few months ago, was gregarious and happy to share her love of New York, food, life, and Scottish people (we were in town for the Highland Games) in a fabulously loud and boisterous way. This is one of the best places to eat. The owners are great and very hospital. We will always return to this restaurant when in the area.
This is 5 Star in every way from the food itself, to the staff that serves it to the Owners Marie and Gary! God love em.....Everything is so delicious and their personalities are the main ingredients in their food! If you have a special request just ask Marie and she will accommodate your needs! What a friendly atmosphere! We love this place!

We just had THE best meal ever here at the Mason jar cafe!! We even had the chef come and visit with unstable side on the patio. A real new your cheesesteak in the middle of NC. We will return!!
This is some of the best home cooking food I have eaten away from home.
