How can you have a recovery house for transplant patients half of which needs wheelchairs and walkers to get around have a non functioning elevator? These people are post transplant including myself that aren't walking good and you people expect them to walk up and down stairs!!!! All because some board can't decide whether to fix it or replace it!!! I bet if said board had to walk up or down stairs to their office the damn elevator would be working!! Great place for transplant patients and their caregiver to stay temporarily during the process, appointments, etc. at a cheaper rate than a hotel.
Very nice people here and staff. This is a home for transplants only. A family member had a liver transplant and got to stay here with 2 family members with her. I do recommend this place for anyone with transplant paitents.
For Transplant patients at Emory, this facility is 1.9 miles from the Emory University Hospitals. Mason Guest House has all the amenities of home and it is one of the greatest places to recover from a Transplant.
