lovely space and lovely staff :)
Love the concept and definitely glad to see a zero waste store open in DC. I understand that sustainability is pricier than your average big box store but I did NOT expect to pay over 5 times the usual for rice! $18 for 45oz of jasmine rice!!!! It's a true shame that making slightly more sustainable choices is simply completely out of reach for most people. I hope more places like this open up so being waste free can become affordable.
Sustainable store with a lot of options for vegan goods and books with helpful staff; you can get dry foods in bulk too.
I love the concept and the application of the store. The personal item and book selection is excellent and the staff is warm and helpful. If you care or are curious about zero waste living, this is the place in DC to go.
Great staff and great vegan food.
