Unsettling experience while trying to schedule an appointment for my child. During the text conversation, I was informed that this office does not accept ChampVA insurance, but they would bill Medicare. I have never encountered that situation before. After asking additional questions to the person handling billing, I was told that only hospital settings and hospital-based providers are legally required to accept ChampVA. 1 star for the clinic staff/customer service. What happened to the art of customer service and creating a positive, impactful experience? Especially in this setting. The clinic staff make it so incredibly difficult to reach a live person—zero human connection. You're met with cold, rude & uncaring individuals at the front desk, and the staff is not on the phone assisting other patients—they just don't want to answer the phone. 4 stars for the psychologist we saw for my son's evaluation.
