Att: Richard Stopped at Masa for lunch. Meek, scaredy cat bartender; one ordered pulled pork sandwich--bread was 85% of the sandwich (home made, of course). Bartender agreed & after we insisted he take it to chef, the chef agreed. Presented with check we were charged with an invisible drink. Lots of "I'm sorry". Unfortunately we won't be back here.
Service was great tonight! And the food was excellent, particularly the hangar steak and Mexican corn side dish! My tacos were delicious. The manager came over and was really friendly, wanted to make sure we were satisfied. The prices are a bit high and I'm from NY and used to steep prices, hence the 4 stars. For food and service 5.
The ambiance is great! I was there 4 times - 3 times the food was excellent. But on our last visit, lunch was very bad - very poor service and salmon was terrible! Maybe they changed chefs?
