The manager charges fees for everything. I mowed my grass on a Tuesday instead of Thursday and I get charged $20.00. Every month she gets me for something stupid like this and Legal Aid won't help. Also the manager has cursed at my kids, very unprofessional. I can't wait to move:( it is beautiful, but not this.
I agree with the previous reviewer the apartments are not bad in looks. But there is a serious toxic mold issue that management is covering up. Retaliation from this ignorant landlord is out of control. Would not move in unless your willing to at a snap of a finger do ANYTHING this lady wants.
The apartments themselves are not bad at all for being low-income. The HUD rules are absolutely ridiculous, but luckily I myself have never had any true problems with them. One main complaint is how many times they have to enter your apartment. I was told by the bully of a manager that inspections were done 3 times a year. I thought that's not too bad. They may only do 3 actual inspections, but they do SEVERAL other kinds of inspection-type things, including housekeeping. That's right, you can't have any crumbs on your carpe... read more
I have lived here for 2 years, which I've been feeling very well, always fix things in time, the streets are clean, they are very picky about care homes but I q is created for us to live better! I am very satisfied with my stay at the Oaks.
The Oaks in Jerome Idaho, managed by Horizon property management is THE Worst place I have ever lived in my adult life. Most invasive, intrusive, unreasonable place I have ever lived. They will do up to four required inspections per year and will treat you like a child giving you write ups for having clothes on the floor, dust on baseboards, dust on ceiling fans, dust on fixtures, or even dirty dishes on the counter. They don't care about anyone unless you are on their board of members then you get whatever you want no matter who else complains. They don't even allow kids in either of their pools of hot tubs. Ridiculous. You will love this place if you are a lonely bitter person who enjoys the same company.
