Great night. Comfy seats for a theatre and a beautiful interior
This orchestra plays with precision and nuance and joy. I’ve heard some of the best—the Cleveland with George Czell; Leonard Bernstein, Sergi Ozawa, The Philadelphia, San Francisco and LA symphonies—and I love this Maryland symphony most. The music reminds me of spring, fresh, new, full of energy and life while all too aware of the darkness of winter and death. Its conductor, Elizabeth Schulz, is amazing.
