I’ve been going to this place for many years now- I followed my provider there, but then he left and I felt stuck. The providers are fine and the infusion nurses are angels, but the office itself is a complete mess. NO ONE ever answers the phones. Every single person who works at a desk there has a really nasty attitude. No one really seems to care about doing their jobs there. I don’t know why I still come here. Nothing ever changes. No improvements are ever made. They don’t understand that their staff is the problem.
I’ve been coming here every 6 months for blood work to check on my iron levels that were extremely low and dropping. I had an iron infusion then been getting blood work since. When I’m there for my appointments, the staff is very nice. However it’s extremely hard to get to speak to anyone about your results. I got no call. I called and emailed and n response. And it’s been months. And it’s not the first time it happened. I will do my next visit somewhere else.
My cancer journey started in 2013. Thought it ended in 2023. Cancer had other ideas. Cancer came back in 2025. Dr. Sastra, Isabella, Laura have been there for me. The practice is well run. Only issue I’ve had during this time is being confused with another patient having the same last name. Matter was resolved .
I have never heard of a place where verbal, emotional abuse and lies were accepted. Poor management, disrespectful employees with no apparent home training that don’t take accountability when they’re wrong but pass blame on others. It’s just a very toxic environment to work in. Period.
I’m not one to leave a lot of reviews, but unfortunately, this one is because I encountered more of the same behavior and treatment that previous patients have experienced. I was referred to their office by a Johns Hopkins specialist to begin infusions for lupus treatment. As others have stated, they are some of the most disgustingly unpleasant office staff I have encountered in my life. Dr. Mener himself was an absolute gem and had the most impeccable bedside manner.
