My son went missing 22 years ago. It's been a long heartbreaking journey searching for closer / justice. In the past few months that I've been with MCVRC I feel people truly care. Ever since my sister was murdered 30+ years ago the Stephanie Roper Committee, now the MD Crime Victims Resource Center, has been a huge help to our family, from the time of her viewing, to attendance at all court appearances, and still even today. MCVRC provided me with legal representation (Pauline Mandel) during the trial of my sister's boyfriend. He was going to call me as a witness which would normally exclude you from the rest of the trial. Victims and their families have the right under the law to be present for the entire trial. MCVRC ensured that my rights were upheld! My sister Heidi was murdered in 4/20/2000 in Dundalk, MD.
