I don't think it's actually possible to be a more disorganized, dysfunctional, and disappointing medical practice than Mary Washington Primary Care. I took off of work and drove an hour to my appointment just to be told that my doctor, Dr. Harpe, is running over an hour behind. My appointment is at 3:30 and if she's over an hour late, and the practice closes at 4:30, how is that going to work? I’ve had to use MWHC Primary Cares acute clinic twice in the last month. I was seen by Tanya Farley PA-C. I WISH I could make her my primary care physician as she’s excellent and thorough. My most recent visit she made sure I knew to discontinue one of my main medications while taking the antibiotic she was prescribing. I’ve never had a physician tell me about drug interactions, only ever a pharmacist, and today my pharmacist didn’t mention this potential interaction. Great facility. Dr Cook is an excellent doctor who cares about his patients. Always available when needed. Nursing and other staff friendly. 💞
I love Mary Washington Primary Care! They ROCK!! The front office staff, the nurses, the NP, and the doctors have the highest level of professionalism, Courtesy, and hospitality! I have been with them since 2007 and now that I am retired, I will continue to have them take care of my medical needs. I have a great fear of needles, but even when I go there to get my blood drawn, those staff members do an amazing job and I no longer fear having to have my blood drawn. My doctor, Dr. Cook, is absolutely amazing!
