Back on August 21st I visited Mary Washington primary care. I explained to the receptionist exactly what I needed the visit for & that I would be self pay. I was told the total would be $115.50. On the day of my visit I was again told the total was $115.50, I paid before my appointment. After my appointment I confirmed everything was paid for. Later I received a bill in the mail for $30. Horrible, the person answering incoming calls continuously hangs up immediately so you can’t get through.
I initially had to wait on a 10 month waiting list for this office location when I needed to find a new PCP when mine moved and the practice wasn’t getting a new dr. For the long wait and only a surface Dr visits I am very disappointed. My latest frustration being when I called today for an appointment since I had a few concerns that needed addressing right away due to test results. Humongous waste of time. I went to discuss matter and it was completely ignored The dr lectured me, talked about how great of a doctor he was, told me his average patient is 82 and told me to follow up in 3 months after I see 3 other specialists. Now I need to find a doctor elsewhere who can actually address my concerns.
Love my NP Hishani Perera! She is my favorite. Been with her for years
