Dr. Richard Erwin, MD, has been an absolute blessing for our family. He has been taking care of our twins with such incredible care and dedication. Dr. Erwin's expertise and compassionate approach make us feel confident and reassured every time we visit. The entire staff at Mary Washington Medical is professional and friendly, creating a warm and welcoming environment. We are so grateful for the exceptional care our twins receive from Dr. Erwin and the team. Highly recommend!
This is one of the worst pediatric offices I’ve ever dealt with. The wait times are absolutely unacceptable—at one point, we waited in the waiting room for over an hour and a half before finally walking out. I spoke to the manager about it and even followed up with a letter because the practice is completely mismanaged. A scheduled checkup for our 1.5 year old daughter, which is usually 100% covered by our insurance, was marked up because of a small rash that needed a prescription. Because of this, the insurance treated it as a normal visit (unscheduled) and we were charged a great deal more than for what was actually done. This has happened once in the past as well which I had to dispute with both the front office and our health insurance provider. We cannot get anyone on the phone to make an appointment. We met with Dr. Kelley once and could not get a follow up. The doctor appears to be caring, but the staff don't seem to share that level of service. The front desk staff are short tempered and will keep you on hold for entirely too long and assuming you don't get hung up on, they do not call you back. We are approaching two weeks we've been trying to get a follow up but, alas, to no avail. Go elsewhere for your little one.
