I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dr. Mary Mirto. I found her to be unprofessional and not caring toward her patients. I had a bone density scan on November 22nd and, despite multiple requests and messages, I still have not received my results. Dr. Mirto has never reached out to explain the delay or discuss my results, and patient relations has also failed to follow up. I saw Dr. Mirto December 18th and she prescribed a medication for hot flashes in which my insurance denied. I have sent numerous messages and have even made phone calls about prescribing something else. One of her nurses responded to several of my messages and stated she sent all my messages to the doctor. On January 2nd I sent another message to the nurse stating that I still had not heard from her. She stated that she sent a high priority message to Dr. Mirto to respond to my messages. Extremely disappointing experience. The wait times are very long, and it is incredibly difficult to reach Dr. Mirto or her team. Follow-ups and emails are often ignored, making the care feel disorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for attentive and reliable OB-GYN care.
Very experienced and comforting concerning birth control and women’s health.
