I'm a new patient who twice before I met the Doctor I met with his PA. Those were great meeting she was caring and showed it. AMY I believe is her name I don't have her card with me right now. My third visit I got to meet DR. Carpenter. He spent all the time we needed together was concerned and went over my test results with his advice in a very caring way. I went thru 2 other doctors before meeting this Doctors team. Very pleased that I finally found a Doctor to work with.'
We love her, no nonsense, straight answers, and good suggestions. She is from our areas up North so knows our cultural backgrounds.
Dr. Carpenter listens to your concerns and will come up with a plan that will help. If a medication is needed, he always tries to find one that is cost effective. He cares about his patients overall well-being. Very pleasant and easy to understand.
I've been with Dr Meadows for a while. He is very personable and has easy to talk to. He misdiagnosed a rash though, and it took me a year to figure it out (after scheduling my own appointment a derm at UAB). So, I can't give 5 stars.
She has provided my primary care for years and was awesome until the past few years. Now she dismisses my concerns and jumps down my throat for daring to ask a question. I know that COVID is taking a toll on healthcare providers, but I have a right to ask questions and understand my test results, etc. I can no longer recommend her to anyone.

I am 67 years old and Dr. David Carpenter is the best Dr. I have ever had in my life. He is very knowledgeable and I know if I have a problem he will get to the bottom of it. He is also very professional, personable and he listens to everything that I need to address with him. Having him as my Dr. makes me feel very secure that he will take good care of me.
This has been my doctor for 10 years. You cannot find a better one. Excellent bedside matter and he truly cares about what’s going on with you. Love love love this doctor would never go anywhere else.
