This woman's only solution for my issue was to put me on medication which I was highly against. When she would state back to me things I told her, she exaggerated them to make me seem worse than I actually was (like stating i was hallucinating). She is the reason I am against therapy now, because I feel she did more damage than good for my mental health. I'm horrified she still sees patients.
I went to Mary Lou for one appointment and wasn't certain if I was going to return for more. I ended up not going back because she made me feel like there was something wrong with me for deciding not to take the traditional route in life (i.e. get married, settle down, and have kids). Later I found out I was charged for her to write a letter to get authorization for more appointments with her - I did not ask her to write this letter because I told her I was not certain I was going to be back.
