The Doctor is logical and no-nonsense. If that's what you mean by having "no bedside Manner". I happen to really like her approach. I don't need a "lollipop" I need the truth. I'm pleased to have her as my Doctor.

This is my first visit and I am comfortable with Dr. Johnston. She laid down options for me and is proactive with helping me get the diagnosis and treatment I need by referring me to Endocrinology. She is open to questions and concerns, and ensured I am helped with my symptom before sending me out for a referral.
I was due for my 20 week anatomy scan. I came from 2 hrs away & got caught in unexpected traffic half way there. My apt was at 7pm & I arrived at 7:15pm, but she was still seeing a 6:40pm patient so either way I would've had to wait to be seen. She turned us away. My partner & I were so frustrated because we just wanted to know if our baby was OK, it’s our first child so we don’t know what to expect. I returned home unsure when/where I'd be able to get an apt. Worst experience ever.

She is not personable and her bedside manner is horrible. I would not recommend anyone I care about to see her. If she is the only doctor available when I need to make a sick appointment, I do not make an appointment as being sick is better than being her patient.
