Had a fall on the hills, came to the minor injuries unit as a precaution due to a stiff and painful neck. Cannot praise the service enough, friendly and warm welcome and throughout, less than 5 minutes wait to be seen, and a quick and honest assessment. Hope I don’t need to use it again in future but will be comfortable if I ever do!
What an absolute gem this little hospital is. The nurse practitioner saw me within 20minutes, gave me a full in depth examination and PT history and left with a prescription. All of the staff are kind, welcoming and professional. I cannot rate this highly enough. I was very impressed by the accessible 'how to give feedback' display on the wall for individuals with learning disabilities or cognition issues. I have yet to see that in another NHS building.
Just to say thanks to everyone for their skill and kindness in patching me up after a fall damaged face,knee and thumb. Everything healing well
Badly gashed my elbow when I tripped up on a high fell. Made my way to this urgent treatment centre and the staff patched me up. The dressings nurse, doctor and receptionist were all extremely nice and efficient. A credit to the NHS. Just like Natalie K in her review, I was visiting from Yorkshire for a few days walking at start of this week and exactly as Natalie also said, this UTC puts my town's UTC and hospital to shame. Keswick UTC and community hospital is an oasis in a desert.
Busy day at the office for these guys they did a great job and arranged for an emergency follow up appointment impressed
