My grandson was here for over a month and the staff is phenomenal! Almost felt like family. The physical and occupational therapists worked hard to get him home to us and your endless dedication paid off. I can’t say thank you enough. My mom went into Mary Free Bed barely able to communicate and unable to walk. She had had a minor stroke, but that was only a small part of her problems. After a stroke I spent two weeks in May 2025 in the Mary Freebed ward at UM/Sparrow hospital in Lansing. My care and treatment were in every important way outstanding ! I am full of gratitude for the physical and occupational therapists who worked with me intensively, to the doctors who monitored and treated my complex needs with thoughtfulness and expertise, and to the nurses who tended vigilantly and kindly to my needs day and night.
