The worst doctor I have ever had. She spoke in a very condescending way when I addressed her my problems. She showed little sympathy or professionalism while talking to me. Before the exam she even used "f" word when she was trying to set up the stirrups. During the exam, she was very unhappy and making some kind of noise - not sure what the problems with the tools or something. I only saw her once a year and whenever you expressed a problem, she would talk down to you and yelling loudly with no emotions. I have decided to c... read more
I left Mary Farwell behind many years ago, however, google reviews were not a thing then. I came to find her to write this review because her la k of professionalism and caring left a permanent stain on me that I will never forget. I was a 19 year old girl, just found out I was pregnant. Rude, dismissive and arrogant in her approach. I left feeling awful, unimportant and not heard. A doctor specializing in Women's Health should be sensitive, kind and open-minded allowing women to feel comfortable to discuss their health issues. She made little to no eye contact and I did not feel comfortable given her approach. Luckily, the practice has many great doctors and I will not be returning to see this one.
Wife was given a IUD by Dr who was aware she had two cysts saying it will help treat a cyst. It’s common knowledge in her field that IUD’s aren’t used to treat ovarian cysts but instead can cause them to grow & create new cysts. So with that being said 4 weeks after the IUD her cysts have grown. And the IUD will most likely have to be removed and cysts now be removed via surgery with the potential of my wife losing her ovary essentially eliminating the chance of her getting pregnant naturally.
Dr Farewell was very personal and helpful during my exam. She answered all my questions. I was quite comfortable the entire time!
