After going elsewhere, and my turn signal, brake light problem not solved, Marv's was recommended. Within five minutes, while smoking a cigarette and talking on the phone, Marv discovered and fixed the problem and told me to have a good day. Experience counts, and professionalism counts more.
I have been using Marv's for many years for different cars I have owned. Always honest and fair. I moved over an hour away and still drive to get his expertise. I highly recommend Marv's.
I brought in a Saturn and communication was pretty poor. I had to call every few days to get the status of my vehicles repair. After 2 weeks of troubleshooting (I had no spark on my engine) they gave up and told me to tow the car out of their lot. The tech’s there are part swappers, not actually knowledgeable in automotive diagnostics. They swap in new parts to see if the issue is fixed when they should have been using a volt meter to test if current was going to the proper places. Was impressed they were able to diagnose, take apart and rebuild an obsolete 1967 Mercury 65HP outboard starter while I waited. Been enjoying the big lakes ever since! Starts strong and runs like a new motor. Great shop with great guys. All that for a low cost too! Thank you!
Good luck with parking! How many cars can they squeeze?! I was given an estimate for a car part over the phone (over $100 w/ labor). No issues here. They are honest people. And for that, I give them three stars. Besides the tiny, cigarette-stained lobby, this place is crawling with unprofessionalism. The mechanics are good with tools, but lack in tact. Expect high profanity. Not a place for kids.
I moved to Macomb 2 years ago and have yet to find any other place I trust completely. Fast, fair prices, and accurate solutions.
Very honest businessman. Took my car in to his shop thinking I had a couple hundred in repairs...it turned out to be only $45. He could have taken advantage of me (and I wouldn't have known), but he didn't! I highly recommend him to anyone! Bill
