great fish This is the place to buy fresh fish. If you are making your own sushi, they have sushi grade fish. The produce is excellent too and usually have better prices on their produce than the super markets. I also love all the fun Asian kitchen products and tableware. Fun place to go to find a unique gift!
Good Prices Marukai is a cheaper version of Mitsuwa or other pricey Japanese markets. This one is not as good as the huge one in Torrance/Gardena. The selection is still good, however. The food court here is okay, but they have a Beard Papa (creampuffs)!
Japanese Market This is definitely one of my favorite super markets. If you've been to Mitsuwa, it is just like it, but in a smaller scale and a bit cheaper. I like this place because they have a small food court inside of it in which you can have different types of food. One down side of this place is that you need a membership card, but it is worth it!
Marukai Market Is very nice they have lots choice to pick from. The only bad thing about this store is you have to pay for a membership which only cost 10.00 a year or a 1.00 for a day.
