I bought an old truck that had a 700R4 transmission problem. If you know anything about 700R4's, you know what i'm talking about. I called many shops and was given price quotes between $1500-$2300. When I called Marty, I was quoted below 1K. He then took the time to educate me on what the rebuild entails and what upgrades that I should do. He was personable, attentive to my needs and was patient with my lack of knowledge on the transmission. I would definitely refer him to any and everyone I know.
I'm still in the process of getting my transmission rebuilt by Marty. Even at this early point, I can recommend his business. He took the time to diagnose a very intermittent problem. Not only did he find the cause of the problem, but he helped me to find the best price to fix it. Here's the thing, Marty could have made an additional sale, but instead told me about a less expensive solution through another company. When I return, I know Marty will finish the job right.
The Killingsworth Address is an old address. Marty's is now at 8850 NE Sandy Blvd! Great shop that is priced fairly and does top-notch work. Don't go anywhere else!
GREAT SRVICE!! REASONABLE PRICES!! – I had problems with my Dodge Ram Truck. I called many transmission shops around and the cost was way expensive. A friend then highly recommended Marty's (also a female) and said trust me you wont be sorry. Above and Beyond – I've had my car serviced by Marty twice in the last couple of years. The first time was a quick and easy job and I was in and out for under $50. This week I had him replace my transmission (at 115k miles) and he did the job quickly and for considerably less than I was quoted by others. He then went above and beyond by fixing a body problem for no charge. I was absolutely stunned. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop.
