Had a great experience having my bike serviced at MMC. When booking my bike in, they took the time to run through the work, educated me on what they were looking at and recommended/maintenance for the future. The transparency and constant communication through out the service was amazing. Everyone in the shop is super knowledgeable and enthusiastic about mountain and gravel bikes, and all seem genuinely happy to help. Highly recommend Marty’s Mountain Cycle!
It is unfortunate I have to write this poor review of such an established, loved local business. If you are not interested in a long winded story to sum it up if you value your time, money and overall wellness I would suggest you go elsewhere. I do not recommend anyone from dockyard or the navy to get your bike worked on at this establishment. I bought an e-bike from Marty’s about 2ish months ago. Marty and his team took easily an hour of time at the end of the day and stayed late, just to answer all my questions about a bike I was looking to purchase. Upon test riding, adjustment and having it modified, I’ve had this Rocky Mountain Soul 10 out for a few rides now and I couldn’t be happier. Kudos to Marty and his team, they know how to treat there customers and I’ll never shop anywhere else. Thanks guys.
Poor service and not detail oriented. After paying several hundred dollars, they couldn't even be bothered to wipe down bike and lube the chain, and said that a wash wasn't included when I asked them to wipe down the bike. I was initially told when I had first brought my bike in that I needed new brake pads because I didn't have any left, and was quoted a price for that and a tune up.
