Beware of surprises! I was referred to Marty’s garage after asking around about a good/honest mechanic. It turns out…after leaving there…...they are still hard to come by…and I’m still looking. I don’t doubt the quality of work (Been in business a long time)…but I’ve never in my life heard of a garage performing work that was not OK’d / discussed in advance. Replacing filters when not requested, other than just replacing the belt is bad business. Especially when I have filters in my garage. Not cool Mr. Marty, I wouldn't have thought you would do that as long as you've been in business. Kind of a cruel trick to pull on a first time customer. That was very disappointing. My suggestion would be to get approval from the money supply so as not to irritate knowledgeable customers making them feel taken advantage of.

Marty has cared for my 1997 Honda Accord for decades. She drives like a dream: great acceleration, tight steering, and responsive accelerator and brakes. She drives better now than when she was new. She and I are delighted with Marty’s honesty, skill and good humor.
