From start to finish, everything was great. Communication and time lines were above expectations. The work itself is incredible. Marty and his crew recently replaced 2 flights from my 100+ year old house (they even found news papers in the steps from 1918!). Marty and his crew really know what they are doing. The main staircase in our 100+ year old home hadn’t been rebuilt until 2.5 years ago and we made the mistake of hiring a friend that butchered it— The Stair Experts undid everything from that first go + replaced our newel post, railings and balusters. Each tread used to sound like we were jumping down the steps and now they are completely silent, sturdy, and beautiful. So so pleased!

We recently had our stairs repaired in our brownstones in DTJC and couldn't be happier with the results. The craftsmanship was excellent, and everything feels solid and safe. Communication was clear throughout the process and the project was completed on time. Highly recommend their services and we would definitely use them again.
After having an emergency pop up with my stairs due to some nearby construction- an online search led me to Marty. He was very responsive via text and phone; and was able to visit my home and assess the problem within less than 48 hours notice. He provided a verbal estimate followed up by a written estimate shortly thereafter- and I was lucky enough to have his crews working within a week after our initial meeting - and after a holiday weekend!
