The first time I used Martin's Metal Fab company, in 2021, for aluminum-to-aluminum welds, I was happy with the results, although their bill was high. Second time, in 2025, after three attempts to do two copper-to-aluminum welds on a ham radio antenna, each time the copper wires pulled out of the welds. I had paid $460 for this. When I protested to the young man who coordinated the project, all he could say was, "That's the way the cookie crumbles."
