I highly recommend Viva Orthodontics for those dealing with TMJ issues. After several months of progressively worse jaw pain, my dentist referred me to Dr. Martineau, who quickly identified the problem with my bite and began treatment. The pain lessened quickly, and went away couple over a series of weeks. I appreciate the care and attention shown by all members of the Viva Orthodontics team.
The best place ever. The doctor consultation and X-ray was for free. And the doctor was very helpful and patient friendly and nice. He gives me a lot of information for my problems. He didn’t do anything extra to cost me more money since I pay out of pocket. All the staff were great.
After my daughter struggled with TMJ for years, her jaw began locking, and we knew it was time to see a specialist. I took my daughter to an oral surgeon because she needed to have a jaw injection and the surgeon asked who our orthodontist is. When I said Dr. Martineau, the surgeon said, “Oh, he is the best, the absolute best out of the 10 or so orthodontists I work with.” Dr. Martineau has been super patient with my teenager and her massive anxiety, too. Seems like a great doctor. Very kind. I feel blessed to have chosen him randomly…we lucked out.
